Only one of two artworks that are mounted onto a free-standing block.  Coral reef is truly a mixed media artwork as it is embellished with fused glass that I've made in my studio kiln!  First, layers of paint, collage and printing were applied to create a soft watery feel before the fused glass was added.  The painting showing through the glass gives an interesting disorted effect.   Coral reef would look lovely on a shelf or table in any room.
