What is Remembrance art?
When we experience the loss of a loved one, it's natural to want to keep their memory alive. When you commission Remembrance art from me, I'll work with you to create a painting that's as unique as your loved one.
Capturing some of their ashes in glass droplets* created in my kiln, or by combining ashes with paint pigment, I'll create an artwork that truly celebrates their life, keeping them as a treasured memory forever.
* Ashes can remain as they are or can be fused with gold or silver powder for some sparkle, or infused with beautiful bubbles.
How does it work?
If you are interested in commissioning an artwork, please take a look at my shop and archive to get a feel for the type of work I create. If you decide a Remembrance artwork is a good fit for you and your family then have a think about the sort of piece you'd like to commission. Maybe they had a favourite bird or flower? Or maybe you feel something more abstract based on their favourite colours or a song would be more suitable?
When you have some ideas about what you'd like then please get in touch. From here we can work together to create a special artwork that celebrates the life of your loved one.
I'll send you an ashes collection pack in the post. Your pack will include:

I'll let you know as soon as your loved one's ashes have arrived.
How much does it cost?
Remembrance art is created for you, and only you. Each painting is unique and is created as a result of a careful and respectful collaboration between us. In essence you are not only commissioning a meaningful artwork, but also a future heirloom for generations of your family to pass along through the years to come.
Artwork is priced according to the size requested. The information below gives an indication of what sizes are available. If you would like a size that isn't listed here, then please email me to ask. I'm here to help you.
Prices are for unframed artwork but I am happy to arrange framing for you through a local framer.
Alternatively you are welcome to arrange your own framing.

A deposit of 40% is payable when you confirm your order. Details of how to pay this is shown on the confirmation order form sent with your ashes collection pack.
All prices include postage and packing within mainland UK. Please note that as far as possible I try to use pre-loved packaging to cut down on unnecessary waste. If you are local to the Chippenham area you are welcome to collect your artwork from my studio.
Please allow between 6 and 8 weeks for your artwork to be complete.
