My Great Great Uncle, Ernest Portage Tomlin, boarded RMS Titanic at Southampton in April 1912. Inspired by his story, and those of the passengers, crew and the ship itself, I created this collection of original paintings exploring memory, loss and the passage of time.

Through layered texture, light and mark-making, I sought to uncover the human stories beneath the history.
