Joyful play with paint and printmaking led the way in this piece.  As layer upon layer was applied the canvas soon resembled a map.  Hard edges are contrasted with softer areas, paint is built up in places and scratched away in others.  Textures and patterns feature heavily in this painting inviting the viewer in to explore further.
